Motivated to the fingertips
There are actually eight volunteers from Niedernberg (greater Aschaffenburg area) who will be flying to Peru in the next few days to set up tents. One is missing from the picture, namely Paul. Because of his absence, Paul has to put up 10 more tents in Curahuasi as punishment than his buddies.
Diospi Suyana has over 500 tents. Almost 200 will be erected on the women’s grounds in the next few days. That leaves a good 300 for our friends from Lower Franconia. Time is likely to be short. But with strict supervisors, the workload can be increased. In ancient Egypt the guards used whips, we will try water pistols. We are rewarded with a dry crust of bread in the morning and a glass of water from the Apurimac River in the afternoon.
The number of registrations is currently around 3150. It is a dynamic process that is linked to countless telephone calls. By the way, it starts three weeks from today. Just don’t get nervous overseas. It’s enough that we have wet hands in the meantime. /KDJ
