Day 3: An exciting 24 hours

Video of the 2nd day and pictures of the third

Once again, the sun shone brightly and the program – perfectly prepared by many volunteers – once again delighted the young people. In the evening, there was once again a full house under the large tent roof.

Juvenal stands at the front of the stage. He has worked in the X-ray department at Diospi Suyana Hospital for many years. His childhood was hard. Poverty and a lack of prospects. He grew up without a father. He told me beforehand that when I tell the story of my life, I’m bound to cry. Broken families are almost the norm in the Peruvian mountains. “God became my father. He became my support and my hope!” His words convince everyone and touch them. This is called applied and life-changing theology. It has no alternative and offers hope. It fills churches and amphitheaters.

And that’s why we do everything we can to organize these festivals. /KDJ
