The logo of Diospi Suyana must be seen on the steep slope
It is an interesting Peruvian tradition. Schools, municipalities, and sports clubs have their logos placed on the many mountainsides. For that purpose, brave volunteers will climb to lofty heights and remove any grass on the ground to write on the spot with white lime.
For a few days now every Curahuasino (person living in Curahuasi) may look at the mountain and admire the new logo up there of Diospi Suyana School (CDS, Colegio Diospi Suyana). A big “Thank you” goes to all the parents and teachers who worked so hard to support their school. Our star photographer, Ryan Morigeau, was of course also around at the scene of the action.
