Day by day closer to the goal

A construction report from veteran Udo Klemenz

Hello friends, although we are still working on the school construction site with a reduced team, we have made good progress in the last few days thanks to the friendly weather. On Thursday night, however, it rained heavily again and turned the construction site into a muddy field.

Apart from the power connection, the construction site facilities were completed during the reporting week.

19 of the 25 foundation pits for the first building have now been excavated by hand down to load-bearing ground (approx. 70 m³). The non-load-bearing soil was replaced with lean concrete.

Now the irons and the formwork for the individual foundations are being prepared.

Best wishes and a blessed weekend, Udo
