Of course!
Dear friends, those of the construction workers at Diospi-Suyana who were not busy last week were either on vacation or sick. We currently have several smaller and larger building sites:
Colegio (school): Work is continuing on the columns on the ground floor of Building B. The reinforcing bars have been cut, bent and installed and the first two columns have been concreted.
Work has begun on the formwork for the ceiling above the ground floor of Building A. The “rough installation” of the electrical engineering is also progressing. Sockets and light switches as well as the distribution cabinet for the later installation of the fuses were installed.
Radiology (hospital): In the area of diagnostics, there are still the famous “few touches” until everything is “chic”. A lot of work was carried out in parallel with ongoing operations: The corridor is brightly tiled, the door to the MRI scanner has been installed and secured, the patient preparation room has been set up and is available for examinations with the MRI scanner.
Residencia II (guest house): In order to start construction work on Residencia II, it is necessary to relocate the photovoltaic system and the solar thermal panels. The challenge here is to convert an existing system in such a way that the connections can continue to be used and the hospital can be supplied with hot water at all times. The foundations and beams are being constructed for the first part, on which the panels will then be mounted.
I wish all readers a relaxing weekend. Next week the “Fiestas Patrias” of the Independence Day will be celebrated in Peru – therefore the next building report will be published in 2 weeks.
Saludos, Christian
