A friendly welcome and much praise for Diospi Suyana
The governor’s daily schedule was tightly timed. But the state’s top dignitary took a good hour to learn about Diospi Suyana’s vision. Percy Godoy Medina (top center) said he once visited the mission hospital with a delegation several years ago. He thanked Diospi Suyana from the bottom of his heart also in the name of the Peruvian people.
Also involved in the cordial conversation were Dr. Roger Peralta, Director of the State Health Department (top far left), and Dr. Elio Vidal Roble (half left), responsible for all social services in the state government. Edgard Montalvo (above right) accompanied the mission doctor. He has been working as an accountant for the Peruvian association of Diospi Suyana for 18 years.
The governor told of a serious accident he himself had been through. He said it was a miracle that he was still alive. This borderline experience had led him closer to God. After the obligatory group picture, all present wished for a future fruitful cooperation.
