A breakthrough in solar technology is on the horizon
The Peruvian capital, Lima, is expanding inexorably outward. According to realistic estimates, the metropolitan area’s population is likely to have grown to 11 million. Thousands of different companies across all sectors offer products and services. And, of course, Diospi Suyana relies on strong partnerships with companies, government ministries, and media organizations in Lima. That is one of the reasons why we established a base for our mission in southern Lima in 2015.
At first, it’s unclear which companies are supportive of a Christian charitable organization and which are not. We reach out, say a prayer, and share the story of Diospi Suyana. That’s exactly what happened recently with the company Nexura in the Lince neighborhood. The first meeting went so-so. But the follow-up meeting with the owner, Georg Linder, yesterday at noon ended on a very promising note. This time, the focus is on the power supply for the Christian community center. We hope and pray that we’ll have the necessary system installed on the roof by the end of the year.
Time and again, it becomes clear that, in the maze of Lima’s countless streets, God is the best GPS system available on the global market. /KDJ
