Weekend seminar for volunteers

58 adults and 36 children spent intensive days

How can we keep the different areas of our lives in order and look after them? Lecturer Hebert Palomino from the USA gave valuable impulses with four talks. The 67-year-old Colombian looks back on a rich life. He worked in the member care sector in Peru and Paraguay for 25 years. He then took up a teaching position at a university in North Carolina.

In addition to the presentations, there was plenty of time for creative breaks. The weather was warm and sunny. The food tasted delicious and the atmosphere among the 94 participants was open-minded and cordial.

Listening to the friendly speaker, it was hard to imagine that Hebert Palomino had worked for a communist movement for several years as a young man. But he did not find the answers he was looking for in Marxism. He only discovered them in his faith in Jesus Christ.
