Every visitor to Diospi Suyana is a potential courier

Engineer Christian Heuchert, carrying insulin and lab supplies

Visitors and guests come and go in a constant stream at Diospi Suyana. If they announce their arrival in advance, they are quickly assigned as couriers. They now serve as messengers for personal letters, carry credit cards in their inside pockets, and transport important supplies for the various departments of our mission.

Civil engineer Christian Heuchert is currently inspecting our various construction projects. This is part of his volunteer work. But the contents of his suitcase are also very important. Just a few minutes ago, he handed Dr. Martina John a box of insulin from the German initiative “Insulin zum Leben.” For 15 years, the “Insulin zum Leben” project, led by Heidi Schmidt-Schmiedebach, has been supporting our Diospi Suyana Hospital.

Anyone who carries out their duties as faithfully as Christian Heuchert certainly deserves to be recognized for higher honors. /KDJ
