. Just a few hours ago, the six members of the Jatzke family stepped off the plane in Cusco. Philip and his wife Theresa first heard a lecture by Dr. Klaus John 17 years ago. Good things take time. Their decision was certainly not a spur-of-the-moment one, but a well-considered one. Now they’re here and planning to serve for three years. The anesthesiologist and the nurse are, of course, bringing their four children—Jonathan, Friedrich, Katharina, and Liesbeth.
Not only our anesthesiologist, Dr. Natascha Lopata, but all of us breathed a sigh of relief. With so many surgeons in the fields of general surgery, urology, gynecology, vascular surgery, and occasionally trauma surgery, our anesthesiologist was hopelessly outnumbered.
We wish the Jatzkes a productive time at language school and, for now, a long night so they can get a good night’s sleep. /KDJ
