After much patience, perseverance and diligence the kitchen of the mission hospital has taken shape. Many impressive donations were received from a range of companies; at the head of this was the Ascobloc Company from Dresden. Also of much assistance was the Horn Company from Bautzen who helped in several ways including making the draft plan for the kitchen as well as providing many contacts. Even so, the director of the operation was Michael Mörl. Through his energy and efforts we have received cooking implements, the baker’s oven, the bread-dough mixing machine, the automatic potato peeler and 2 large walk-in fridges. Michael was also very involved in the installation of all the equipment.
His life is yet another example of a person whose passion and convictions can help mountains with God’s blessing.
The estimated value of the donated equipment for the kitchen lies in the vicinity of 50,000 Euros.
