He has set up computers and installed the software. He’s repaired a washing machine and operating room lamps. He’s installed the hospital’s telephone system as well as the patient nurse-call system. He’s even rounded up beds for needy Peruvians. These are just a few of the challenges that Diospi Suyana places on the shoulders of its “jack of all trades”. Until now Timo Klingelhöfer has stepped up to these calls and in all cases he has been found to be reliable and friendly.
This summer Timo and his wife, Simone, who worked as a Physiotherapist in the hospital, will conclude their service in Curahuasi and head home to Germany. The loss of this couple will make a huge hole in the staff of Diospi Suyana. Who can fill this gap?
