Taxi takes on lorry

Seven are injured

On Tuesday afternoon an accident occurred roughly four kilometres away from the Hospital Diospi Suyana. In a curve a taxi crashed into a big lorry. Within minutes seven accident victims were transported to the missionary hospital.

The respective departments in the missionary hospital functioned like a Swiss clockwork.

Doctors, nurses, x-ray staff and lab staff worked 100% according to the book. All patients survived. As two of them suffered acute head injuries, however, we transferred them to Cusco’s neuro- and facial-surgeons.

We thank all staff for their concentrated and dedicated service.
