We are rejoicing because another phase of the construction has been completed! All of the interior plastering work is finished. This is the messiest job, and so finally the building can be restored to a cleaner state.
The plumbing and electrical installations are also progressing well. Unfortunately we have to delay the installation of the network cables until the next shipping container arrives (probably towards the end of April).
The ceramic tiles are currently making their way by road from Lima through the mountains to Curahuasi (1000km).
Meanwhile the gardeners are working to sow grass around the helipad.
Last weekend we had more severe rains that caused further devastation around the Cusco region. Unfortunately another 8 lives were lost. We pray that the rains will soon dry up and allow the road to be repaired between Curahuasi and Cusco.
