No more bad words against the Swiss
The internist from Romanshorn (near Lake Constance) has been working at the Diospi Suyana Hospital for two weeks. When he applied in 2023 he already had a Spanish language level of B2. As soon as he arrived in Peru, he disappeared into a language school in Cusco and learned Quechua.
Since 2007, over 220 long-term employees from abroad have been involved in the various areas of our mission. Daniel Ringli is the first to achieve this feat. We are very impressed by his achievement.
We wish Daniel Ringli every success as a missionary doctor and hope that he will have interesting conversations with many descendants of the Incas (Quechuas).
