And the story behind the donation in kind is phenomenal
Our new CT has been in use since Monday. The doctors are delighted with the quality of the images. The radiation exposure is significantly lower than our previous device. And Diospi Suyana has paid absolutely nothing for this high-performance unit, a 64-line scanner. How was that possible?
Prof. Dr. Michael Uder opened the doors to several high-ranking Siemens representatives. And Dr. Klaus John told the story of Diospi Suyana from the heart. The price went down radically. And in the end, a private family from southern Germany, who are currently building their own house, donated the entire prize. The W. family said: “Of course we could invest tens of thousands of euros in our kitchen and bathrooms. But we are cutting back and would rather pay for an important purchase for the missionary hospital. Our CT!
So we thank the W. family and, of course, Siemens Healthineers. We give Prof. Dr. Michael an appreciative pat on the back and, above all, we thank God, the giver of all good gifts. /KDJ
