The Aumund Foundation supports the purchase of neurosurgical instruments
Towards the end of 2026, Diospi Suyana Hospital will start performing head surgeries. Neurosurgeon Andreas Warkentin has committed to a three-year assignment at the missionary hospital. Yesterday we were informed by the Aumund Foundation about the generous support for the purchase of the necessary equipment.
The end result will have little to do with the picture above from the Middle Ages. Thanks to our dramatic advances in radiology (MRI and CT), high-quality diagnostics are now possible. We are delighted with the good news from Rheimberg, where the Foundation is based. /KDJ
