From the hand of Governor Sr. Wilber Venegas
On Friday Apurimac’s regional government honoured the missionary doctors John in a special ceremony. Dr Martina John received the medal, the certificate and the badge. Her husband was on a presentation tour through Europe at the time. On the occasion of the State’s 144th birthday, the Governor highlighted the outstanding achievements of six persons, who have done great service for Apurimac State, among them the founder of the Hospital Diospi Suyana.
Such awards can open doors in the Peruvian bureaucracy, influence state officers positively and gain media interest, i.e. every such award is a great help.
