Beneficial for both sides
In Peru the Universidad Cayetano Heredia enjoys an outstanding reputation. This private institution in the capital Lima has high standards and capable graduates. Its medical faculty educates both students and specialised doctors. For three years now Diospi Suyana takes part in training its assistant doctors in the fields of gynaecology, urology, anaesthesia and general medicine.
These young doctors are a great help in the day to day running of the hospital. They learn a lot and are influenced by the missionary hospital’s special atmosphere. The agreement was renewed for a further three years. Dr Jens Haßfeld deserves special credit that this cooperation has been set up.
