Mutual good memories
Until April 2024, hardly anyone in southern Peru knew the group Trinity. After their performance at “Gozo en los Andes”, that quickly changed. Of the ten bands that took to the stage at the second festival, the Dutch touched the hearts of the audience the most. It wasn’t the stars from the USA, Puerto Rico or Colombia that became the big talking point, but a handful of Northern Europeans.
This week, Trinity released a six-minute commercial on YouTube. Click on the image below to get a taste of the musicians’ joie de vivre. Other groups such as Rescate from Argentina and the US-American Evan Craft also used their performances at Diospi Suyana in video clips. From the conversations with the foreign artists it became clear that the lived faith in the Diospi Suyana environment also left a deep impression on the main actors. Give and take is the motto. We learn from each other.
By the way, it is possible that the Trinity people will return to Curahuasi in 2025. The expectations are huge.
