On TV: Diospi Suyana
Every four years, local politicians gather at the Diospi Suyana TV studio. They have the opportunity to present their platforms, but afterward they must answer questions from our hosts and the public. The debate will be broadcast live on Wednesday evening in the Curahuasi district. Politicians’ declarations of intent should be taken with a grain of salt. Not everything announced with such conviction before the election has a half-life that extends beyond Election Day. But at least the public can form its own impression of the candidates’ personalities. As a Christian organization, we hope that the winner of the October 4 election will act for the benefit of the people. /KDJ
