Inspecting two aerial towers

We cannot wait to start broadcasting

A couple of days ago Doris Manco, Chris Welch and Don Elogio visited Diospi Suyana’s aerial towers in the Provinces Andahuaylas and Chincheros in order the check the final details, the so-called “fine-tuning”.  On the above photo you can see the three of them and two staff of the state electricity company Electro Sur.

The next container will bring antennae, transmitters and monitoring equipment which will then be installed.  We hope that our broadcasting locations in Andahuaylas and Puerto Maldonado will be up and running in May, those in Chincheros and Puno in June.  Shortly we will buy four-wheel-drive to act as our mobile workshop.  Oebele de Haan and Chris Welch have already checked out Cusco’s car-market.

The chances that one’s own chain of radio-towers in South Peru offers are enormous.  We are about to realise a huge dream.

Our tower near the city of Casabamba lies more than 4,000m above sea-level.
