Container#75 has been packed, sealed and sent off
How many people does one need to do something wonderful? Alexander the Great gathered a few faithful around him and conquered the Persian Empire. Olaf Böttger, Diospi Suyana’s CEO, hand-picked three capable comrades and packed a 40foot high-cube container. Within two hours the four of them had stowed away 50m³ of best products. The pictures below show that the team did not spare itself in any way.
Roughly USD150k are now somewhere between Wiesbaden and Curahuasi. CMA is once again sponsoring the sea-transport. Most of the container’s contents are donations in kind for our various fields of work.
A dankeschön to our volunteers and especially Detlev Hofmann, head of the warehouse, who has been coordinating the documentation of the donations. As an aside SMS Medipool provides us with the storage capacities free of charge. All in all each of our containers is a concentrated load of generosity and lifeblood.
