Christmas visits to three villages simultaneously

More than 300 presents given to children and grown-ups

On Saturday three teams each consisting of 10 Diospi-Suyana staff drove to the Quechua villages of Chuna Marjuni, Llanucancha and Moraspampa.  The programme consisted of games for the children, a Christian address for the grown-ups and Christmas presents.  While cakes and hot chocolate were being served our volunteers distributed colourful present bags which caused great joy especially with the children.  The grown-ups were given warm clothes for this cold time of year.

Which nouns describe these events the best?  Perhaps the following three: surprise, contentment and thankfulness.
