Swimmers from our colegio made it as far as the Macroregion
First, our pupils competed for medals at the swimming championships at district level. Then the best went on to the national championships. And indeed, a sizeable team qualified for the Macroregion, which consists of the four states of Apurímac, Cusco, Ayacucho and Madre de Dios.
And there the following five representatives of the Diospi Suyana School collected 12 medals.
Joshua Cruz: Relay 4x50m, freestyle, 3rd place
Jesús Ascarza: 100m butterfly, 3rd place/ 50m butterfly, 3rd place/ 100m breaststroke, 3rd place/50m breaststroke, 3rd place
Kyara Ascarza: 200m freestyle, 3rd place / 4x50m, combinado 3rd place
Humberto Ascarza: 200m freestyle, 2nd place / 4x50m freestyle, 3rd place / 4x50m , 3rd place
Santiago León: 4x50m, 3rd place / 400m freestyle, 3rd place
With these results our athletes have not only brought the Colegio Diospi Suyana but also Curahuasi to the top of the positive headlines. We are very impressed and congratulate the swimmers and the female swimmer on their extraordinary achievements. And of course we give our sports teachers a pat on the back. /KDJ
