Diospi Suyana gifts arrive in a remote mountain village

The effort was worth it

When presents are being wrapped in a chord, the people involved don’t even notice the Christmas spirit. But when the gift bags reach Indian children in a distant mountain village, the joy is great. Michael and Nohemi Palomino regularly visit village communities in the mountains. On their last mission they were well provided for with gifts that Diospi Suyana staff had lovingly prepared.

Yesterday, the two of them reported on their latest mountain tour. “Although the rainfall has increased significantly, we have explained the good news of Christmas to the children in the village of Huanima. Children and parents were absolutely delighted with the presents, the cakes and the hot chocolate!”

Every seed that falls into the hearts of children is worth it. And every reference to God’s love has the potential to change people’s lives.

The presents were packed a few days ago by volunteers. Sabine Teichert and Sonja Müller had prepared the campaign in exemplary fashion.
