The Diospi-Suyana-Community looks forward excitedly to Saturday

And the rejoicing bridegroom writes the weekly building report

On 13th September 1968 Barbara and Udo Klemenz tied the knot in Wetzlar/Germany.  Tomorrow, on Saturday, we will celebrate the highlight of 2018 in an appropriate manner.  Tomorrow it’s all about love, today it’s all about bricks and stones.

Dear Friends of Diospi Suyana, we remain content with how the building work for the Media Centre’s second storey is progressing.  The ringwall opening has been completely concreted around the whole building and is being stripped of the formwork.  The first and also the longest main beam (measuring 21.5mx30cmsx30cms) has been concreted and the side formwork is being taken again for the next two main beams that have exactly the same measurements.  The floor formwork for beams 2 and 3 has been set up and the reinforcement work is progressing.  The armouring for the 20cmsx20cms ringwall openings positioned on the masonry is partly in place.

I expect that all the concrete works will be completed within the next three weeks and we can then start with the plastering work.

The chiselling work that was needed to be done before the foundations of the two operating theatres could be laid has now been completed.

Work on our aerial unit in Echarati is nearing completion.  The tower has been completely assembled and right round the enclosing wall a five metre wide safety strip has been levelled off in order to make it harder for uninvited visitors to scale the 3m high walls.

Wishing you a blessed weekend, Udo
