Breaking News: Löwenstein medical donates three new respirators

A huge donation in kind for our second intensive care station

On a chilly morning with dark clouds lining the sky a meeting had been scheduled with Löwenstein medical’s senior management at their head office in Bad Ems at 9 o’clock.  Before the missionary doctor got out of his rented car he specifically prayed for God’s blessing for the next few hours.  A short while later authorised signatory Ansgar Bilo and his assistant Jutta Elbert listened attentively as Dr John told Diospi Suyana’s story.

At the end of the meeting Löwenstein’s vice-president told us some excellent news: “We will donate three new respirators for your intensive care station!” Praise God!  The value of this donation in kind in the high five figure region is excellent news as this week draws to its close. Diospi Suyana sends a massive “dankeschön” to Ansgar Bilo and his colleagues.

We used the money from the foundation “Bild hilft” to buy a paediatric ventilator and a reanimation table for new-borns.  The donations were raised in the ZDF’s charity gala “Bild hilft” last December.

As Dr John drove back to Wiesbaden it seemed that the sun mysteriously and wonderfully shone through the grey sheet of cloud.

Authorised signatory Ansgar Bilo has a special connection to South America.  In the middle of the photo you can see the three respirators.
