Breaking news: Balloon healthy

First examination with the donated MRI

All-clear and relief. The balloon is perfectly healthy. It was not suffering from a stroke, a slipped disc or a tumor. At around 6 p.m., Dr. Martina John carried out the first test examination under the guidance of engineer Kevin Alanya. Ten minutes later the team from Erlangen University Hospital arrived at our hospital, Diospi Suyana.

Only one hospital on this planet has received a new Siemens MRI as a donation: Diospi Suyana! The reason is simple. The winners of the Future Prize 2023* have donated their prize money in full. And Siemens matched this amount twice. And the ball started rolling because the brother (Dr. Stefan Uder) of one of the winners made a mistake on Spotify 18 months before the award ceremony. Instead of a certain song he downloaded the first audio book about Diospi Suyana (I have seen God). The rest is history.

A few hours before the test balloon, all the preparations that had taken several months were successfully completed. An absolute precision landing! Dear visitors to our website, please don’t take it amiss if we go into raptures about this MRI.

The first adventure: a flat tire.
The tire needs to be changed. If you can operate an MRT, you can also cope with the challenges of Peruvian road traffic. Thumbs up.
