2016 was a record-breaking year for Diospi Suyana
The figures are official. In 2016 the missionary doctors and nurses of the Hospital Diospi Suyana were able to treat over 40,000 patients. Most of those in need were Quechua-Indians living in the mountains of Southern Peru. Since the founding of the Hospital in 2007 no patient was refused treatment due to lack of financial means.
Numbers can be as cold as a block of ice. But 40,406 destinies are a concentrated charge of hope, tears of joy and warm hearts.
