Dear Friends of Diospi Suyana,
It has become much quieter on the construction site! The shell construction is finished and we are changing gear. We are now about to start the interior.
We are very thankful that all materials needed for the roof have been donated by two Peruvian mining companies. We now have about 54 tons of steel on the construction site that needs to be put to use.
The company that will help with the roof construction has begun the prep work. Unfortunately, the road between Abancay and Lima has been closed due to a mud slide and we are waiting for a truck load of materials. After the many weeks of hectic business, our helpers are now finally getting around to cleaning up. Besides that, we are plastering and putting in window sills.
