…the construction work is progressing
Ten construction workers are currently pouring concrete for the foundations of the recreation center. The rains have started, but so far the work is not hindered by the weather. Our goal is to complete the sanitary facilities on the lower first floor by the start of the 2nd Festival. But we still have a lot of time before the young people arrive at the end of April.
Behind the hospital, two plasterers work on the interior walls in Warehouse No. 2. By the end of November, the LED lights, jukeboxes and mixers should be stored here neatly and cleanly.
An initiative by Tobias Lächele also deserves mention. The old well pump at a depth of 60 m was replaced by a new one this week. Due to the increased pumping capacity, the water cyster can be filled in half the time.
In faraway Ayachucho, the masonry work on the transmission facility is almost complete. In the next few days a team from Lima will erect the steel tower.we hope to start broadcasting our program by November 10 at the latest. After all, 200,000 additional people would then be able to receive our broadcasts.
