Udo Klemenz presents the facts
Hello Diospi Suyana friends, the masonry and plastering work in the sanitary area of the basement is progressing steadily. We are currently installing the screed in the vestibule and in the first third of the toilet and shower cubicles. The second third is still being plastered and the last third is being bricked.
If everything goes well, we will start with the wall tiles in the vestibule on Monday. The window work has been awarded to a well-known and reliable local company, as has the steel entrance door for this area. The doors for the individual cabins are manufactured in our joinery.
All 21 reinforced concrete columns on the basement floor have been concreted and formed. Our two carpenters and two helpers set up the floor formwork for the beams. The reinforcement for the beams has been prepared and the bars will be installed soon.
Campsite II can be widened by a few meters after the acquisition of a small plot of land. The corresponding work will again be carried out by the subcontractor who has already built the entire system.
Next week will be my last build report before I head back to Germany. Until then, best wishes and God’s continued blessing, Udo
