My fourth meeting on Tuesday will be in the evening at our mission’s guest house. Pedro Reategui and his wife Rossana Zapata want to learn more about Diospi Suyana. After my presentation in the office, ask their questions. Well they are not preparing a spot for local television in the residential area, but a program for “Mundo Christiano”. Via satellite, the contribution will soon be broadcast worldwide and reach countless people in Spanish-speaking countries.
It is getting late and we are just about to say goodbye. Then Pedro shows me a Youtube film of a violinist. The artist is he himself. We all know the melody of “El Cóndor pasa”. I feel like I’m electrified. It starts working in my head. “Such a great musician could even play some songs on his violin at the next Youth Festival – in front of 4000 people in our amphitheater and live on our radio channel in front of tens of thousands.
