Rick and Nancy Dill
Cleveland, Alabama: The talks for the morning and evening church services are long gone. Now we sit around the table after dinner talking about old times. We have known each other since 1981 and the mutual respect between us could hardly be greater. Rick and Nancy Dill have spent 27 years of their lives as missionaries in Germany. In Weimar they founded a community church that soon was bursting at the seems with 250 worshipers. Most of the members originally had an atheistic background, but then in all of them something unexpected happened. They met the man on the cross.
Rich and Nancy tell wondrous stories one after the other. Their experiences often remind me of Diospi Suyana. Often God had answered their prayers at the very last moment. “Rick,” I cried. “You must definitely write a book! Your story will encourage many in their faith and bring others to think about God!”
By midnight, the beginnings of a book had emerged, it only lacks the corresponding chapters. God is active everywhere-especially in the lives of people who trust in Him.
On Monday the journey continues through Nashville, Tennessee and then heads towards Texas. / KDJ
