Immediate resuscitation in the emergency room
Yesterday afternoon, a 19-year-old drowned in the swimming pool in Lucmus (Curahuasi). According to witnesses, she floated under the surface of the water for several minutes. Finally, some acquaintances brought the lifeless young woman to the Hospital Diospi Suyana. When she arrived at the emergency room, she was clinically dead with no heartbeat or breathing.
The nursing staff immediately informed the doctor on duty and began resuscitation on their own. Even before the doctor arrived, the patient had a pulse again and was breathing spontaneously. Without a doubt, the following five people saved a human life with their courageous actions: (from left to right) Técnica Jenny, Licenciada Reyna, Técnico Nelson, Técnica Sonja and student nurse Rebeca.
