It took one month from packing the container in Wiesbaden for it to arrive in the port of Callao close to Lima. After that, it took another month until the container passed customs. Furthermore, Dr. Brady had to fly to Lima twice.
Container number 18 was unloaded at the hospital on Sunday morning.
At the same time, 10,000 kilometers to the east, Detlev Hofmann from Stoss Medica is already collecting donations for container number 19 which is due to start the journey to Curahuasi on 1 December 2008.
