They arrived in Curahuasi two weeks ago: Joanna and David Lienti and Brian Chauncey. They are from Tennessee and wanted to see the construction site up close. They thought it would be more of a vacation but they were immediately deployed. Under the command of Lyndal Maxwell, they helped to renovate a house that needs to be ready for the Engelhard family in a few weeks.
In the future, the missionary hospital will accept short-term volunteers as long as they finance their stay themselves, support the goals of Diospi Suyana and can be helpful to the overall project.
