Will these meetings help…

… prepare the hospitals in Apurímac better?

Yesterday’s meeting to which the Governor of the State had invited lasted four hours.  The head of the Health Ministry and the heads of the hospitals exchanged their views.  The Hospital Diospi Suyana was represented by Dr John and head of administration Steven de Jager.  It was very fitting that the missionary doctor sat next to Sister Cristina, herself head of a Catholic clinic.

A possible scenario was discussed of which no one knows if things would develop in such a way.  But one thing is for certain: the Virus has reached Apurímac and the number of those infected will sky-rocket soon.

The oxygen generator and a compressor unit were unloaded at the missionary hospital at 9 o’clock this morning.  Oebele de Haan is confident that he will be able to increase hospital’s oxygen production substantially within a few days.  That is the best bit of news of today!
