The oven for the hospital’s bakery has arrived
Not all of us can easily lift 350kg. The oven donated by the company Debag, based in Bautzen, was announced in ARTE’s television documentary. Now the valuable freight – of course well-wrapped – has arrived in SMS Medipool’s warehouse. For 17 years now its experienced warehouse manager Detlev Hofmann has supported Diospi Suyana in correctly listing the donations in kind. His contribution is rarely mentioned but is extremely valuable.
As payment for his faithful service the man hailing from Wiesbaden will receive three bread rolls hot out of the oven; however, he needs to pick them up in person in Curahuasi, but that should not be a problem after Corona.
Our voluntary member of staff, who in his spare-time is an active football referee, is by no means petite. It is more a matter of perspective and the massive box in the behind him.
It appears that warehouse manager Detlev Hofmann wants to lift the box onto his back.
