They are currently five voluntary social workers, who serve the hospital Diospi Suyana in Curahuasi. I hope that Liv Jentzsch, Joanna Moll, Hanna Behrendt, Cedric Oswald y Beatrice Lusse will remember enjoying their service at Diospi Suyana for long time.
Some days ago, our administrative director Stefan Seiler, his assistant Marion Hofmann, and the young volunteers climbed up to the mountain lookout. At more than 3000 meters, they shared their expectations, their aspirations in life.
With a 5000 meter mountain in view, Marion Hofmann gave a short devotional on Psalm 121. The first verses are these: “My eyes are lifted up to the hills: O where will my help come from? Our help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth."
Tabea Seiler, the wife of Stefan, invited the whole group of explorers to a lunch of brotherhood once they came back down to Curahuasi.
Diospi Suyana receives many applications of teenagers that they would like to do a voluntary year. We can only accept a few per year.
