Water Alarm in the Laboratory

The sound of water splashing in the Lab on Saturday afternoon was ominous. And the water trickling out from under the doors was a pretty sure sign that something had gone awry.

Also six months ago a tube had come loose from one of the lab machine. It was surely time to call in the voluntary fire brigade – formed spontaneously by Timo and Simone Klingelhoefer, Klaus John and 3 of the hospital’s security guards. They worked feverishly together to try to minimize the water damage.

A possible solution for this ongoing problem – perhaps we could offer a bonus to the hospital’s plumber for every dry month. Perhaps in that case the pipe connections would hold together better and for longer!
