… then the kindergarten building will be complete
Dear Readers of my building report. This week we were able to complete some infrastructure works for the building: the drainage pipes have been laid on the western and eastern sides of the building and the area under the wide projecting balcony on the northern side has been concreted. Materials that could not be used for refilling were driven away. Again it was hard manual work for our workers.
The roofed shed near the ironing-bending area will be dismantled within the next few days: it has to make way for an inspection shaft. We want to use the holidays in calendar week 40 to lay the drainage pipes along the sports field right up to the transition chute.
This week we will finish the plastering works in the ground floor. The wall tiles in the boys‘ toilets have been laid and the tilers are now working in the girls’ toilet.
The subcontractor continues to weld the individual segments for the balcony balustrades together. Wishing you God’s blessing for the week ahead and sending you cordial greetings from Curahuasi where we are now enjoying warmer weather, Udo.
