Local elections are due to be held throughout Peru in October. Across the country, candidates are fighting for every vote. As many as six local politicians are running for the position of mayor of Curahuasi. Today, Wednesday, they have the chance to introduce themselves to the public on Diospi Suyana’s television channel.
Our media team was out on the streets of the city to capture the mood of the people. The six aspirants will be amazed to hear and see the opinions of the people during the broadcast. We suspect that during the debate, which will last a good three hours, most Curahuasinos will be sitting in front of their TV sets.
