There’s always something going on!

Some photos from the last few days

Of course, the “Vida en los Andes” festival stands before us like a mountain. But parallel to the preparations, all areas of work are running at full speed. (hospital, school, media center and children’s clubs). Construction work is currently being carried out on the school grounds, on the campsites, in the future MRT and technical room and in the future seminary building. Tent construction for the festival participants will begin on Monday. Last week, Paul Funk and his colleagues erected tents for the various stands on the exhibition grounds next to the amphitheater (see above).

However, the focus of all activities is always on the patients in the hospital and teaching the school children. Our radio channel broadcasts around the clock in five federal states. 280 employees (missionaries and Peruvian colleagues) are on permanent daily duty /KDJ

A short break. Hospital employees eat their lunch in the canteen.
Peruvian cooks are prepared for their work during the festival in the town hall. Another large food court is to be set up in Curahuasi.
Purchase of a pickup truck in Cusco. During April, a multi-purpose vehicle (brand, color and size as in the picture) will be delivered to Diospi Suyana. The vehicle is a donation from a family in Saxony. It can carry one ton of cargo.
Group photo with BBraun’s visitors at the hospital entrance

BBraun Melsungen is currently preparing a major donation of surgical equipment via its subsidiary Aesculap. In the center of the picture are Lic. Cynthia Rodriguez and Fabrizio Noriega from BBraun-Peru.

This enormous support is based on the decision of the owner family Braun personally.

Another camping site is being developed. An agricultural supply pathway is being built in the center of the picture. There is the usual time pressure. The whole area also has to be landscaped.
Walls and floors are being tiled in the Christian meeting place (leisure center). Most of the windows are set.
A shot from behind. The balconies on both sides are still missing.
