This week was a bit quieter here on the construction site. Most of our roofers have returned to Lima, with a small group finishing the roofs of the amphitheater toilets and the substation.
We also finished the stairway skylight, which now quite nicely fits in with the rest of the buildings.
Work on the walkways surrounding the buidlings should be finished in the next few days. We put in the piping for ther roof drains, which are being hooked up to the sewage system at the moment.
We are still dealing with the mess and dirt caused by the plastering, which most likely will go on for another 2 weeks.
Concrete is being poured for the apartment floors, and as soon as we have the financial means we will start with the tiling.
Two people are working on the Southern slope of the property, where, in a few weeks time, our thermic solar equipment will be installed. This equipment was sponsored by the German company Viessmann, and will be installed, free of charge, by Ernst Irmer from th German town of Neustadt an der Saale. Thank you very much!
