The Unimogs Have Arrived at the Hospital

It took nearly 2 years of continual negotiations to find a way to import 2 small trucks. Finally, with the aid of Abancay’s Bishop, Sala Rivera, we have succeeded. The Unimogs are safely under the roofs of the hospital. In April, Diospi Suyana will send 4 courageous personnel on a mission into the Peruvian jungle. They will receive training in a small place called Mazamari in order to drive the Unimogs.

Meanwhile, we expect the arrival of the 14th shipping container to the hospital in just a few hours’ time. Also on it’s way is another truck carrying 50 sets of chairs, 3000 IVs and a major portion of the equipment needed to finalize the oxygen and suction system in the hospital
