A group of men working with Michael Schonfeld finished installing the solar power plant on Friday. Now the 24 batteries will be able to store approximately 30kW/h. This amount of energy will be able to power the hospital’s flood-lights. With this system in place Diospi Suyana will be able to reduce the monthly power bill by up to 1000kW/h. Most likely this is the only solar power plant operating in a Peruvian hospital.
