The significance of Diospi Suyana extends beyond all denominational barriers

Some amazing lines from Verena Orlamünder-Volk

On Easter Monday evening, an ecumenical service for young people and the young at heart took place in the parish hall of the Catholic parish of St.Maria in Waiblingen-Neustadt. The short film about Diospi Suyana was shown https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zC2omdpyF_I and a personal video of Dr. John was played (see photo). The service invited us to open ourselves to God’s love, to find out what He wants to call us to. All those who are committed to Diospi Suyana are role models for us in walking in God’s ways. Because they put God first in their lives and really want to trust Him. According to the motto (quote from Dr. John’s 3rd book, “Walking on Water”): “Do your best and leave all the rest to God”.

The service was very well attended and afterwards the visitors were beaming – they were enthusiastic about Diospi Suyana and God’s work. They gladly donated to the hospital at the exit – over hot dogs and drinks!

How did the Neustadt parish know Diospi Suyana?

A few years ago, during an orchestra rehearsal in a Stuttgart community center, a community member happened to discover Dr. John’s 2nd book “God has seen us” in a bookshelf. The book title immediately spoke to her heart and she read the book with enthusiasm. She got the 1st book, “I have seen God” and devoured it spellbound. The two books became her encouragement in her faith. Whenever she felt discouraged, she picked up one of the two books and gained new confidence in God. The thought of giving of herself to the hospital lay dormant in her heart for a few more years. While planning a youth service, Diospi Suyana came back to her mind. Because the incredible story of Diospi Suyana fit perfectly with the theme of the service.

…We pray for the Youth Festival and all those who work for Diospi Suyana! God will continue to bless you!
