The new staff library
As the existing library had to make way for the occupational therapy room, we looked for a new location, since, as we all now, reading is important. A statement that is relevant both for our missionary as well as for our Peruvian staff. In the last few days a new building mysteriously and in no time came into existence behind the apartments. The container-house is lined inside and outside and has a tiled-floor. The wall insulation and a functioning air-conditioning ensure an agreeable room temperature. In a few days our library will house several thousand books. To close, some news hot off the press: at Christmas there will be prizes for those members of staff who have read the most books!
